Appropriately priced and functions well. December 30, 2008 Polished Amethyst This keyboard fits the bill and works as expected, the emphasis being on the lighting. The dimming feature and on-board volume control is a plus. I do not have a personal preference for the feel you get when you hit a key, so in that aspect I am content. I must, however, agree with a few other posters about having difficulty recognizing many keys bearing more than two characters. I also believe the feet that prop the keyboard up are adequate, but lack the height that is necessary for most people to be able to type at a comfortable level. Above thoughts considered, a decent value for a backlit keyboard.
Great Keyboard December 27, 2008 Dark-Shadoku Great keyboard, i bought this keyboard for gaming (i know its not usually gamers first pick) but im satisfied completely with it. I love the palm rest , the illuminated keys and the keyboards shape is pretty cool too.
Very Happy. December 16, 2008 S. Boshoff (South East Missouri) This is my second Saitek keyboard; my first was the blue LED type which I loved. I really like the feel of the keys and the construction of the keyboard. The new color is great, it goes very well with my XPS gaming computer that has red LED's on the front and backside of the computer. I use it for gaming and its great in low light conditions, and more importantly the price is way under the retail price in stores. The only negative thing that I have to say is that my other keyboard only lasted two years. This was due to heavy game playing, so I am willing to accept that it only lasted for that amount of time.
Kool looking keyboard !! December 15, 2008 Techiedave (boston area) A Nice looking Keyboard especially with the red backlighting and all. Matches my 22in monitor perfectly. I even purchased a red Saitek mouse to match the keyboard. Received in three days !
Nice Backlight December 12, 2008 Simon J. Lalonde (Denver) 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
The backlight is good but as a keyboard and the design is really lacking so the comfort is not there, so probally not a good idea as a primary device, but just for gaming.
