I tried two other T.V.'s before settling on this set.Tried the Mitsubishi BLN-T375H.Quite a bit of video smear with movement.Next came the LG 32LC7D.Horrible colors out of the box and also Video smear with movement. Finally, staying with LG, LG 37LB4D. I died and went to heaven. What outstanding color. What contrast. Please don't let anyone tell you that there isn't any difference between a set that has 5000 to 1 and one that shows 10,0000 to 1. This set is almost too bright.But that is where adjustments come in to play.
The HD programing is out of this world.My wife came into the room and told me my mouth was wide open. The colors are incredible running into the over saturated, but again you can control that.The T.V. is easy to set up.The remote is a pleasure. Too bad it couldn't have back lighted. I actually dropped the T.V. to the floor when installing it, ripping off the HDMI cable. One new cable later and except for some scratches, the picture is good as new.
If you are looking for a medium size T.V., that offers outstanding, color,contrast and value. Look no further.Lg, move to the front of the class.

I purchased this a week ago and am very happy with it. The colors are bright, the picture is sharp and detailed. It automatically searches for devices and connects them when you scan with the Input button. I bought this from Video Only and got an extremely good deal judging from the prices I'm finding on the Internet. This TV isn't a giant big-screen but is just the right size for my living room which is about 17X15 in size. It doesn't overpower the room and is comfortably viewable from any distance in the room. I haven't had time to play with all the features of this TV, but one I did find and really like is a picture button that lets you instantly change the brightness, contrast, and color saturation with one push. There are 3 programmed settings and there are user settings that you can configure. It also has 'Intelligent Eye' that senses the ambient light in the room and adjusts the picture automatically. That works well for everything except sporting events.
